EXPANSION JOINTS FOR TRANSPORT OF LIQUID

Rubber moulded expansion joints have a perfect tightness and therefore are particularly indicated for the transport of liquid substances.
They offer strength and robustness and will last a long time. Whether it is with steel or nylon fabric reinforcement for high pressurized or inner rings for depressurized situations, they can be adapted to all on request. Used in specific situations such as used water treatment, desalinisations, liquid cooling or petrochemical transport, they offer an optimal but also quite expensive alternative. Due to the basic materials, they cannot resist to temperatures above 200°C (390°F), even not more then 110°C (230°F) for the most common quality.

Before all, it is necessary to distinguish two fundamentally different types of production: models with "floating" flanges and models with "integrated" flanges.
Models with floating flanges are generally used for diameters up to maximum 800, with relative standard and limited installation heights. They are suited for pressures to maximum PN16 (16 Bar) and maximum continuous temperatures under 110°C (230°F). Above these working conditions it is highly preferable to use models with integrated flanges. Hand and tailor-made, they offer per definition much more possibilities. Once more, all international standards and exigencies, whether it is for dimensional or quality, will be respected with care.
